You don't need an SEO agency to launch well. You need 12 files and tags configured correctly. Here they are, in order.
## The 12 items
1.
## Why this order
Items 1-5 are indexing. Without them, Google may not find your pages or may index the wrong ones. Items 6-9 are sharing — how your page looks when linked from Twitter, LinkedIn, Slack. Items 10-12 are enhancement — they help, but only after the previous items work.
If you have 30 minutes, do 1-5. If you have two hours, do all 12.
## The verification step
After deploying, paste three of your URLs into the [Search Console URL inspection tool](https://search.google.com/search-console) and request indexing. Google will usually index a launched domain within 24-72 hours once you do this — without it, expect 1-2 weeks.
## What to skip at launch
Skip: blog network, backlink building, schema for every content type, keyword density optimization, meta keywords tag (deprecated since 2009), elaborate breadcrumbs on a 3-page site. These are all week-4+ concerns.
## The meta pattern
A launch-ready page has one job: Google can find it, parse it, and show it in results within a week. Everything else is growth. Do the 12 items above and you've cleared the launch SEO bar.
